This football season, our sales teams have been hard at work across the country, hosting a series of highly successful group-themed days! The Amplify teams have a deep understanding of the significance of crafting memorable group experiences for their devoted fans. It’s no surprise that many of the group attendees eventually evolve into season ticket holders for the upcoming seasons. Our teams maintain year-round engagement with group leaders in their respective areas, aiming for maximum participation and turnout. They also offer exclusive opportunities and conduct post-event follow-ups to collect valuable feedback and continually enhance the overall experience, year after year.

Scroll through to explore just a few of the exceptional highlights so far from this season!

YOUTH SPORTS DAY

Our Indiana team hosted their Youth Sports Day on September 23rd and brought out over 250 kids to participate in a pregame youth sports clinic on our practice field with the help of USA Football. The clinic included baseball, basketball, and soccer stations. Following the clinic, the kids had the opportunity to run out of the team tunnel. In collaboration with the multi-media rights team, the Hoosier Hills Credit Union sponsored the event and provided t-shirts for each of the participants. After the festivities, participants had the chance to enjoy the 4OT thriller win vs. Akron. This year, our team invited members of our Junior Hoosiers Kids Club program. The kids had the chance to participate for free as a kids club member, but our team saw an uptick in ticket purchases from parents and the inclusion helped increase overall participation numbers for the clinic.

The Washington State team has hosted two youth sports teams in September. On September 16th, the Southridge Suns brought a group of 70 young football players and the team had a chance to take postgame pictures in the end zone! This past weekend, on  September 23rd they hosted the Pullman Junior Greyhounds and they participated in a scrimmage during halftime. Between the kids participating and their friends and family, our team has sold over 200 group tickets for these two experiences. The Cougars look forward to hosting more teams this season!

SCOUTS DAY

troy u newsOur team at Troy hosted back-to-back successful Scout Days in September. The Girl Scout participants had the chance to participate in on-field experiences prior to the game and they went home with a specialized Troy football patch. The Boy Scouts group had the opportunity to be a part of the pre-game high-five tunnel to greet the football team. Scout troops from Alabama, Georgia, and even Florida came out to enjoy the fun. Our team has heard from several Troop Leaders sharing how thankful they were to be invited out and included in the day.

EDUCATION APPRECIATION DAY

Education Appreciation Day was hosted at Kinnick Stadium earlier this month. Building off previous years’ success, our team has full buy-in from the University of Iowa’s School of Education, which has helped market this event. Our team sold over 1,400 tickets! Each year, participants have the chance to nominate someone to be recognized as Educator of the Year. To commemorate these educators, top nominees had the chance to go on the field during TV timeouts and be recognized for their amazing achievements in the community.

The Gators hosted their Education Day on September 22nd and brought out over 800 people to celebrate! With the help of FEVO, our team created county-wide links for school districts in the surrounding areas of Gainesville. Our sales team fostered connections with school districts by researching County School Board members and reaching out to set up Zoom calls to discuss the initiative. One county turned the event into a fundraiser, while others did not as they wanted to prioritize the lowest rate possible for their constituents. The team is already planting seeds with contacts they worked with regarding similar initiatives for other sports throughout the year as well.

SPIRIT / CHEER DAY

The Hawkeyes hosted their Spirit Squad Day clinic and halftime performance on September 16th and it was a hit! After the performance was rained out last year and almost was again this year, the participants were ecstatic to be able to perform at halftime, to say the least. Our team brought out over 200 participants and they had the chance to participate in a 2-hour pre-game clinic where they practiced the routine with our Spirit Squad and coaches. At halftime, the participants were able to perform their dance in front of a sold-out crowd at Kinnick and lead the crowd with our cheer & dance team to sing happy 75th birthday to our mascot, Herky. Many participants have already mentioned how excited they are for the Hawkeyes’ Winter Sports clinic and performance.

troy u newsOur team at Troy hosted their first Youth Cheer Clinic of the year on September 17th and there was a great turnout! The participants were taught a routine by Troy Cheer, stood with the cheerleaders for the Trojan Walk, and had the chance to perform their routine on-field during the game. The team is excited for their second clinic in a few weeks for their Homecoming game!

HEALTHCARE APPRECIATION DAY

Virginia Tech’s Healthcare Appreciation Day was held on September 9th against Purdue. Our team sold out of group tickets for this event with 700 tickets sold. Following the event, our team used the momentum from September 9th to announce another offer for Healthcare Appreciation Night for the upcoming Thursday night game against Syracuse on October 26th. They have already surpassed September 9th’s event with over 700 tickets sold! Our team plans to follow up with attendees after Thursday night’s game with additional offers for basketball season.  The Virginia Tech team has found major success by communicating with the Directors of HR of major healthcare systems in Virginia like Carilion Clinic, Lewis-Gale, and Centra Health, and sharing flyers to include in the healthcare systems’ communications.

The Iowa team hosted their Healthcare Appreciation Day during their home opener against Utah State. With the long-standing partnership with MMR, 575 group tickets sold for just over $17,430 in revenue. The team worked primarily with the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics to spread the offer as they have over 5,000 employees throughout the state of Iowa.

BAND DAY

Washington State hosted their Band Day event last weekend and it was a huge success. Our team successfully collaborated with WSU’s new band director. Particpants from local high school bands received a meal, commemorative hat, and were able to participate in a practice with Washington State’s band prior to the game. After the big win against Oregon State, the head football coach directed our band participants, and amazing memories were made for participants! Our team also capitalized on selling additional tickets to friends and families to join those who were participating.
