IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions announced West Virginia University as its “Property of the Year” at the 2019 IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions’ conference for its general managers last week in Orlando, Florida.
In addition to Property of the Year, the Mountaineers’ General Manager Lee Harris was recognized as “Rookie General Manager of the Year” and Associate General Manager Derek Stahl was announced as the “Salesperson of the Year”.
“We’re extremely proud and excited to be bringing these titles back to Morgantown,” said Harris. “These accolades have as much to do with our sales team’s hard work this past year as it does with the great partnership that we have with the WVU administration. We look forward to sharing these and celebrating our achievements with them.”
The Property of the Year Award is presented to the IMG Learfield Ticket Solutions team that shows over-achievement with sales goals, creative initiatives to promote staff development, and a continual focus to build positive administrative relationships.
“Congratulations to the WVU ticket sales team for being named the 2018 IMGL Ticket Solutions Property of the Year, to Derek Stahl for being named Salesperson of the Year and to Lee Harris for being named the Rookie GM of the Year,” said WVU Senior Associate Athletic Director Matt Wells. “The entire ticket sales team has done a phenomenal job of promoting WVU Athletics to Mountaineer Nation, and it is exciting to see their hard work rewarded with these honors. In his first year as GM, Lee has done a terrific job of further strengthening an already strong partnership, and we look forward to seeing him continue to take our property to the next level in the coming years.”
