UNC Ticket Sales Staff Named 2017 Property of the Year

The University of North Carolina IMG Learfield Ticket Sales staff earned several awards, including being named the Property of the Year, at the 2018 IMG Learfield General Manager’s Conference in Orlando, Florida.

In addition to Property of the Year, the UNC Ticket Sales staff was recognized along with eleven other properties for surpassing 10,000 football group tickets during the 2017 season.

“I couldn’t be more proud of our Carolina Ticket Sales team for their hard work and accomplishments in 2017,” general manager Brendan Jones said. “The TEAM deserves all the recognition as they’ve been bought into our goals for UNC since day 1. The support from the entire UNC athletic department is unmatched and that allows us to achieve the ticket revenue goals put in place.  UNC executive staff, including Rick Steinbacher, ticket operations, business intelligence team, The Rams Club, athletics Marketing, and all the UNC sports teams cannot be thanked enough for embracing our sales team and working side-by-side to achieve these revenue goals together!  We look forward to building off these successes in 2018 and being a part of a fantastic staff and culture at UNC for many years!”

The Property of the Year Award is presented to the partner who shows overachievement with sales goals, creative initiatives to promote staff development and a continual focus to build positive administrative relationships.

“Congratulations to the Carolina Ticket Sales team for being named IMGL Ticket Solutions property of the year,” UNC Senior Associate Athletic Director Rich Steinbacher said.  “To be selected property of the year amongst so many other groups working for some of the top athletic programs in the country is a tribute to the team and the leadership of Brendan Jones.  We are thankful the opportunities Carolina Ticket Sales is helping make possible for our student athletes.”

South Carolina took home a total of five awards including Dan Stahl who was honored as General Manager of the Year. USC was also awarded as the Top Group Sales Property of the Year.
