Using Head Coaches For Renewals and New Sales
Any opportunity for us to be able to use our head coaches with phone calls or in-person meetings is something we absolutely must be taking advantage of. Understandably, their time is very limited with everything they are doing with preparing for the season as well as recruiting. However, if we can get out ahead and plan to have he/she in our offices to strategically call on some accounts or record messages that our sales team can use it will be worth the time and effort. When the results come in and we can share with them that their time was worth it they will likely be even more open to new ideas we come to them with in the future.
Below are a couple of examples of some teams that are having their coaches be a part of the process and used some down time including a recent “dead period” to get on their schedules.
Basketball Head Coach Dana Altman – Basketball Renewals
Coach Altman recorded some personal messages encouraging fans to renew their season tickets for the upcoming season.
Basketball Head Coach Tom Crean – Basketball Renewals
Coach Crean stopped by the Ticket Sales Office a couple of weeks back and made some live calls to accounts to thank them for their season ticket renewal for the upcoming season.
Basketball Head Coach Jeff Capel – New Season Ticket Sales
Coach Capel has stopped by the office a couple of times since being hired in the Spring of 2018. Most recently Coach Capel recorded voicemails for our individual staff members to be able to use in their outbound sales effort for new basketball season tickets for the 2019-20 season.
Football Head Coach Pat Narduzzi – 2020 Football Season Ticket Renewals
The Pitt team is getting out ahead and preparing for 2020 renewals for later this year. While Coach Narduzzi has a break in his schedule during the Summer they were able to get him to come in and visit and also record some voicemails for our sales team to use come renewal time later this year.
Football Head Coach Lincoln Riley – New Season Ticket Sales
Coach Riley recorded a voicemail for our teams to be able to use in their outbound sales effort for new football season tickets for the 2019 season.
