Despite the restrictions on fan attendance and season ticket sales for the current collegiate athletic season, LIMGC Ticket Solutions must remain committed to supporting our partners as they strive to maintain their relationships with their boosters, fan bases and student-athletes. Given the restrictions on attendance numbers for the 2020 Football Season and the financial impact this has on our partner schools and their athletic departments, our sales teams across the country are working closely with our partners to strategically go on-sale with 2021 Football tickets earlier than usual. This strategy allows loyal season ticket holders to stay engaged and remain enthusiastic about the future while also helping to offset the financial losses of the 2020 Football season. The advanced timelines provide optimism to our various fanbases while enhancing our partner relationships moving forward. Below, you can read about how our partners are strategically taking advantage of these advanced football sales timelines.
Ticket Solutions Partners with Early 2021 Football Sales Timelines
The Ducks recently went on-sale with full-priced 2021 Football Season Tickets. There are currently no marketing initiatives or promotions surrounding the on-sale deposits but our sales team is calling on accounts to make purchases for next year’s football season.
The sales team at SMU is currently on-sale with 2021 football deposits. They are currently running promotions on the radio and at the 2020 games on their video board. In addition, the sales team is sending emails and making outbound calls to season ticket holder accounts.
Similar to our other partners, the Gamecocks went on-sale with their 2021 Football deposits early and are only promoting this initiative over the phone. Currently, fans that are interested have the opportunity to put down a $50 deposit for the 2021 season that auto-enrolls into a payment plan unless the fan pays in full prior to April 2021. The sales team has sold 40+ season ticket deposits, over double the amount of deposits they sold by this time last year.
Our sales team at Penn State went on-sale with their 2021 football deposits in August and are transparently informing their fan base of their early timeline this year. The team is giving fans the ability to join their 2021 football interest list on the official ticketing page and virtual experience page on their website. Emails sent to season ticket holders regarding their 2020 virtual calendar also include links to fill out the 2021 interest form.
Our team at Memphis made their 2021 football deposits available online and in-person in mid-October. The pricing for 2021 season tickets is still being determined, but fans can secure a $50 deposit that will go towards the final cost of 2021 football tickets. In addition, the Tigers are offering fans a special Black Friday offer where all new 2021 seat deposit purchases will receive a FREE ticket for the 2020 season finale vs. Houston on 12/5/20.
The Hawkeyes went on-sale with their football 2021 deposits with a soft launch in mid-October. At first, the sales team was only calling on individuals that submitted interest forms or clicks gathered from the official Hawkeye Athletics website. Since then, they have started advertising the 2021 deposits in their Hawk Talk Weekly newsletter and in their Pre-Game and Hawks Win emails. The initial deposit is $75 per seat and they are offering a wide range of payment plans for their fans.
