2021-2022 Men’s and Women’s Basketball Timelines

Given the unusual year our industry has experienced, Learfield IMG College Ticket Solutions remains committed to supporting our partners in the best way possible in order to help them to maintain their relationships with fan bases, boosters and student-athletes. Many of our sales teams across the country have had great success by strategically advancing their sales timelines for the upcoming 2021 football season. Fans are extremely willing and ready to come back out to live sporting events as soon as it is permitted. Motivated by the success of 2021 Football sales, a handful of our teams have begun going on-sale for the 2021-22 Men’s and Women’s Basketball seasons. The advanced timelines help create optimism to our various fan bases while enhancing our partner relationships moving forward. Below, you can read about which of our partners are finding success in advancing their basketball timelines.

The sales team at St. John’s is currently on-sale with 2021 basketball deposits. They are currently running promotions with a “Buy Now” button and form submits on post-game emails to their database. They are also sharing graphics on their Red Storm social channels.

Similar to other partners, the Colonels went on-sale with their 2021 Basketball deposits last week and are promoting this initiative in postgame basketball emails. They wanted to make sure they were proactive before the end of the current basketball season!

Our sales team at Penn State went on-sale with their 2021 Men’s and Women’s basketball deposits in November and are transparently informing their fan base of their early timeline this year. The team is giving fans the ability to join their 2021 basketball interest list on the official ticketing page. They have also included this link in a few of their postgame recaps following big wins this season.

Our team at UC Irvine made their 2021 basketball deposits available online through Paciolan. Over the phone, our team is urging fans to show they are #StillHungry and all in for next season by putting down a deposit! The 2021-22 Men’s basketball deposits are for new season ticket holders only, priced at $50 and will save a place in line for priority seat selection.

Our sales team at Pitt has gone on-sale with 2021 Men’s basketball deposits. They are advertising these in postgame basketball emails that are sent out to their database. Their deposits are priced at $100 each and they are seeing positive reception from their fanbase on the early release.

The Hawkeyes have also gone on-sale with their 2021-22 Men’s Basketball deposits, as well. They have found success in sharing a deposit button in their postgame basketball emails. See below for an example.

Our sales team at Houston officially went on-sale with Men’s Basketball deposits in early January. Below you can find the marketing surrounding the 2021-22 basketball waitlist. They are putting this out on multiple channels. The deposits are priced at $75.00 in honor of the 75th Anniversary Season for UH Athletics.

The Seton Hall Pirates recently went internally on-sale with 2021-22 basketball deposits. They have yet to market this to their fans, but are generating leads through game day emails and Outreach campaigns.

The Ducks have also gone on-sale with their 2021-22 Basketball deposits. Although our team at Oregon has not actively advertised these, our team has found much success discussing these with fans during phone conversations.

South Carolina

Our team at South Carolina has been working hard on their 10-month payment plan renewals since December. All Gamecock sports are included in this payment plan, allowing our team to accept new deposits for the 2021-22 basketball season for those who did not already have basketball season tickets in previous years.  Similar to our team at Oregon, there has been little marketing surrounding these basketball deposits but our team is finding success mentioning the deposits to their database on the phones.
